About this role
EMA is looking to recruit a Delivery Lead in the Information Management Division who will establish technological innovations and mature our agile ways of working.
In practice you will drive the delivery of quality software and services by effectively managing a large number of experts. Accelerate the agile transformation of your teams, establishing and maturing an agile delivery practice based on the SAFe methodology, defining and reporting on delivery KPIs, such as FLOW metrics.
You will be supporting the definition and management of multimillion Euro worth of supplier contracts, ensuring that the suppliers deliver to EMA high quality services and software.
Through your work you will be a major contributor to the modernization of the EMA technology landscape, cloud transformation for our technological landscape, data analytics and very important platforms that help to promote health for people and animals in European union, such as:
• IRIS, the azure cloud native platform which facilitates the exchange of regulatory and scientific information between EMA and organisations developing medicinal research products for potential use in the European Union.
• SPOR, EMA’s core data platform for delivering quality data management services for substances, products, organisations and referentials (SPOR) to power EU regulatory activities.
• CTIS, the single entry point for clinical trials information in the European Union
• UPD, the Union Product Database serves as a single source of information on all authorised veterinary medicines and their availability in European Union EU
You will be reporting to the Head of Service and closely collaborating with your peers (Architect, Business Analyst, Platform Leads) as well as with colleagues across the Information Management division and EMA organization.
Overseeing a multidisciplinary team of suppliers, the Delivery Lead role requires a hybrid set of technical, analytical, project management skills, with focus on delivery and a highly collaborative attitude.
To be eligible for consideration for this position, you are required to meet the following general and specific eligibility conditions:
General conditions:
1. enjoy full rights as a citizen of a European Union Member State, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway;
2. have a thorough knowledge of English (at least level C1) and a satisfactory knowledge of another official language of the European Union (at least level B2);
3. have fulfilled any obligations imposed by applicable laws concerning military service.
Specific conditions:
1. possess a university degree in Computer Science, Information Management, IT Business Management, Mathematics or Physics (minimum of three years or more) that must have been obtained by the closing date of this vacancy notice;
2. have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience after obtaining the relevant degree and before the closing date of this vacancy notice.
