Job description
As Safety Officer, you are the safety ambassador within Airbus Defence and Space Netherlands. With your technical background, you connect the safety policy to the work environment, which increases acceptance. You develop the company wide safety policy further, execute audits, lead near accident investigation, perform Risk Identifications and maintain the hazardous material database. Besides, you give advice about all safety topics and train colleagues in work in accordance with this policy. You show your colleagues the importance of safety, like to convey a safety-conscious culture and know how to enthusiasm others on being alert on safety as well. You feel comfortable in advising on several hierarchical levels within the organization, give feedback on non-safe behavior and know how to act upon unsafe situations.
