This role is within our Global Engineering & Turnaround organization and oversights responsibilities for the planning and execution of turnaround events.
This is the role
As a Turnaround Construction Lead at LyondellBasell you manage the turnaround (contract) workforce in the preparation and execution of the turnaround event for mainly the sites in The Netherlands (Botlek and Maasvlakte). You are responsible for the field execution work performed by up to 2000 contract workers representing 500,000 – 1,000,000 manhours of work. You won’t be alone; you lead the Execution Team of around 25 team leads both LyondellBasell employees and contract owner representatives.
Your goal is to translate the overall turnaround planning to a construction planning and to assure an in time execution. You keep innovating and you are always open for ways to improve processes and gain more efficiency. From that perspective you will participate or lead improvement projects always keeping our number one priority in mind; safety.
This position will require business travel (10% - 35%) to sites in Europe for the preparation and assessment of turnarounds.
