Introduction Are you eager to further develop your mechanical expertise? To be part of the state-of-the-art technology innovation and multiple engineering disciplines? If so, then a job as an Experienced MultiphysicsFEA Engineer for Wafer Clamps at ASML could be the perfect next step in your career!
Job MissionWithin ASML, the sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the specification and the design of the ASML lithography systems. The department Mechanical Development is designing, building and analyzing mechanical systems and sub-systems which are fitted into the end products. The group Wafer Tables and Clamps Analysis is responsible for general mechanical analysis of the Wafer Clamps.
In this position, you are responsible for modelling and optimizing several performance aspects of these critical modules. The Wafer Clamps are crucial to make lithography happen against the ever-demanding specs on overlay, focus, and throughput while ensuring high availability.
Job Description
You are part of a team of mechanical analysts working on developing, analyzing, qualifying and improving the Wafer Clamp and its interactions with wafers to meet the system specifications and operational requirements.
You will use FEM modelling and analysis to a large extent during your daily work and you will help ensure maximized performance of the mechanical design.
Your role will be to take over and further develop our water load model which involves the coupling of several multi-physical problems including structural, flow and electrostatics among others.
Your responsibilities will involve Ownership of the wafer load model and its further development in COMSOL. Perform (conceptual) FEM modelling of several performance aspects of the Wafer clamps and clearly communicate all status and results support the validation of the models by testing (pre/post-test analysis). Define, document and propose an improvement of our analysis processesAdvise design engineers and architects
