Job Mission
Contribute to the improvement of the leading edge optical sensor (LevelSensor) by designing, creating, integrating and testing solutions to issues /escalations from ASML factory or customers.
Job Description
As Lead Engineer in our Sensors department you will be a key player in a multidisciplinary environment that leads implementation of improvements of theLevel Sensor following up to issues or escalations in the ASML DUV or EUVfactory, or at our customers. You will have to demonstrate your skills in the below activities:
· (Coordination of)Pre-investigation of problems, contacts with factory and customer support
· Analysis and modeling of problems in the performance of our leading-edge optical sensors systems.
· Definition of containments for the problem
· Root cause analysis (incl. system tests) and definition of solution direction
· Implementation of solution with the help of cross-disciplinary team
· Verification of the sensor performance after implementation of the solution
· Communication to stakeholders
You will work in close cooperation with colleagues from many disciplines in- and outside ASML.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are crucial in this dynamic environment.
You will manage ASML internal stake holders, and are in contact with suppliers and other external parties where needed. You are expected to be flexible, ambitious, and willing to develop yourself.
Education
At least technical Bachelor in physics, optics or engineering.
Experience
· Several years of work experience as independent engineer, preferably within ASML (D&E, factory or CS)
· Experience with Level Sensor integration,trouble shooting and maintenance is a clear advantage
· Proven experience with issue and escalation handling in technically complex environment
· Solid background on design of experiments, data analysis and presentation
· Track record of integrating and testing hardware in complex technical systems
· Experience with stakeholder management in complex organization
· Preferably experience with data analysis using MATLAB

· Takes the initiative, creative and is willing to learn and adapt quickly
· Flexible and committed team player
· Pragmatic attitude, result orientation with ananalytical view and structured way of working.
· Excellent command of the English language.
· Strong communication skills, knows how to convey complex topics in an understandable fashion.
