Job MissionAs Manufacturing and Equipment Engineer Metrology you represent the manufacturing and customer support organizations in
the product and process development. In this role you secure the product meets the required factory cycle time and field availability and operational cost.
You ensure the product and process design is such that your colleagues in our factories and at our customers’ sites are able to efficiently set up and service our complex equipment.You can see yourself as the bridge between the design project and the internal customers in the factories and the field.
The Metrology competence enables and implements control of the ASML system and its functions on nanometer levels of
accuracy by means of mathematical modeling of the system and its functions. The products delivered to the service organization are software packages.The Metrology competence connects multiple technical disciplines. You need to be able to keep a broad system view when performing your job.Job DescriptionThe Manufacturing and Equipment Engineer Machine Control is responsible for:
Represent customer service / Manufacturing during the design phase and make sure the service requirements are implemented in the design Review design and design documentation Create procedures for diagnosing and solving machine issues, including setup and recoveryDeliver knowledge of new products to the field and factory service organizationSupport (on-site) complex troubleshooting issues (escalations) during new product introduction phaseIdentify structural issues and drive the development team towards a solutionMinimize operational costs for volume products by improving machine availability (up-time, cycle time)Analyze global product performance and define requirements for design improvement. Education
Bachelor or Master degree (preferred) in physics, optics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, electronics (or other technical background) with minimum 2 years of working experience
