Proto Integrator (Second Shift) Job Description
Introduction
ASML US, LP brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Wilton, CT, Chandler, AZ, San Jose, CA and San Diego, CA.
“This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.”
Job Mission
The primary responsibility of the Proto Integrator is to lead a team of Test Engineers in the integration, test, and qualification of new hardware and software on the existing EUV Source product. The Proto Integrator does this by planning, preparing, and supervising the execution of testing, upgrades, modifications, and repairs on assigned Prototype EUV Sources. This includes but is not limited to creating optimized engineering sequences, detailed daily schedules, resource plans, risk mitigation strategies, and daily progress reports. The Proto Integrator is responsible for highlighting technical issues, managing escalations, driving solutions, and coordinating with various design engineering teams to maximize the utilization and availability of the EUV Source. The 2ndshift Proto Integrator works closely with multiple 1st shift Proto Integrators to comprehend complex testing schedules across several EUV Sources . The 2nd Shift Proto Integrator leads the Test Engineers to successfully execute these test schedules, modifying sequences or changing plans as necessary to meet critical development timelines.
