If so, ASML is looking for you to guide us on our path to a leaner ASML Customer Support (CS) world.Job MissionAs a Lean Expert you will co-lead the Lean transformation Journey within both the Customer Support (CS) High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) Engineering department and the Global Support Center (GSC) towards a sustainable improved environment, aiming at an overall breakthrough in reduction of disturbances in the field, improved Ways of Working and with that improved employee satisfaction. You will provide support to the line organization through coaching, planning, execution and providing follow up on the deployment activities. You co-ordinate and facilitate the necessary training and coaching to employees, including leadership teams. You will help to define the departments’ value stream, identify and tackle the improvement areas.
The results of the deployment (deliverables, business impact and mindset change) are owned by the management team. As a Lean Expert you will respectfully challenge the status quo and act as a role model for Lean thinking.Job DescriptionDrive internal improvements from set-up of initiatives to implementation, therewith, co-ordinate change management elements, training, coaching, event planning and execution & follow up.
Improvement leadership: co-designs and runs Lean transformations in specific areas – as the project leader:
-Defines the overall work plan
-Coordinates the project teams through different phases
-Ensures support, provides adequate status updates
-Shares responsibility to reach the target together with line management
-Enforces prerequisites for sustainability of results
-Be the daily contact point for lean teams
-Business case: evaluates financial consequences of required resources to implement Lean concepts and translates the realized improvements into positive business impact.
Problem solving leadership:
-Contributes to the improvements value stream by participating in or facilitating problem solving sessions;
-Helps teams to identify their KPI dashboards
-Sets-up and implements (daily) Kaizen per team
-Participate and facilitate problem solving sessions
Build-up to the lean knowledge of the department:
-Leading and executing improvements for defined KPI’s
-Trains and coaches ASML employees, management on Lean principles and behaviors
-Participate in cross department initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes
-Work closely together with the Lean Deployment program within ASML Operations & Order Fulfillment. Education-Experienced black belt with 3 tangible waste reduction projects. Open for green belts with a lot of tangible experience.
-Bachelor/ Master degree (in Business Administration or technical background)
-3-5 yrs experience in Project/Program or portfolio management
-Preferably certified in Prince2, IPMA-D, IPMA PMO, PM-Bok or similar Experience-Experience in Lean deployment or application;
-Experience in a customer support environment (Lean thinking in a support organization);
-Led improvements preferably in a technical environment;
-Experience with training groups in the lean philosophy;
-Additional relevant experience with continuous improvement methods (problem solving, six sigma) or change/ project management experience is a preference.Personal skills-Analytical and hands-on
