This position is for an Engineering Group Lead with innovative attitude to work in Manufacturing Engineering. Candidate will manage production engineers to implement new product introductions in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. Job Description-Responsible for people management and career development activities including recruiting, onboarding, training, mentoring, coaching, and performance evaluation.
-Develop and maintain department Target Annual Plan (TAP).
-Drive business cases development and support project leads in Configuration Control Board meetings.
-Represent and support Production Engineering teams in progress reviews and cross-sector meetings.
-Responsible for leading production engineering to support development engineers to converge on an overall design solution that addresses comprehensive production manufacturability with high level of diagnostics for troubleshooting.
-Responsible for leading production engineering group developing and maintaining module manufacturing processes.
-Responsible for leading production engineering group investigating technical issues both analytically using design documentation and physically with hands-on in a production environment.
-Responsible for leading production engineering group supporting operations to deliver modules on time that meet high standards of quality.
-Report production status, issues, gaps and barriers to Sr. Management. Timely escalate in case of issue that can’t be solved within the own circle of influence.
-Drive cross-sector teams to achieve high standards of quality for both product and tooling. EducationMinimum BS in Engineering with MS or MBA preferred, or equivalent experience. Experience-Minimum 10 years of experience developing manufacturing processes for new products, including at least 5 years leading a group or a major project.
-Experience in developing Manufacturing readiness plans to introduce new products into Production.
-Experience in leading cross-sector teams to implement Manufacturing readiness plans for new product industrialization.
-Experience in developing budgetary needs for facilities, capital equipment and headcount.
-Experience in managing new product introduction and industrialization.
-Background in optical engineering is preferred.
