This is a Senior Legal Counsel position based in Wilton, CT reporting directly into the lead counsel for the U.S. region.

Job DescriptionThis position will report to Senior Director of Legal, US Region. ASML’s worldwide Legal Department consists of several attorneys, supported by paralegals and contract professionals. We are a close knit group of highly empowered, business-oriented lawyers with broad responsibilities, who enjoy working together.
Responsibilities:
-Provide front line legal support and advice to ASML’s operations in CT (local management, facilities, procurement, manufacturing, and R&D).
-Be the primary legal counsel in providing legal support and advice to the US procurement group, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including supplier/vendor-related and professional services agreements.
-Build close relationships with key stakeholders to become a trusted counselor and partner.
-Provide timely, proactive, and business-focused legal advice to internal clients and stakeholders.
-Collaborating closely with other members of the Legal Department (including compliance, employment, IP, and litigation).
-Utilizing and managing outside counsel.
Education-Must have 8 to 10 years of lawyer experience (some in-house experience preferred).
-Must have a J.D. Degree and have a membership in a state Bar. Experience-Direct experience in negotiating business transactions.
-Strong background in commercial law. -Self-starter, team player, flexible, organized and have a strong work ethic. -Enjoy working in a collegial environment and collaborating with others.
