Job MissionThe Customer Support Organization is responsible for the installation, qualification, repair and maintenance of the ASML systems at customer sites and is responsible for the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer. Local Customer Support branches perform these tasks for the customers within the specific region. Job DescriptionTo Install leading edge lithographic systems, at the customer site, within specifications, on time, with quality exceeding the customer’s expectations. Equipment Install Engineer requirements:
-Install and de-installing ASML Machines in a clean room environment.
De-crating, transporting, and assembling high-tech lithography machines into the semiconductor fab.
-Completed required OSHA health and safety modules and utilize safe working practices.
-Ability to perform highly sensitive procedures in a time sensitive and precise fashion.
-Work in a team environment to meet deadlines and deliver a superior product.
-Build, install and align components following detailed procedures.
-Install ASML equipment at customer locations, including equipment with new features, pilot and proto systems.
-Perform complex adjustments, upgrades, and diagnose problems with limited support.
-Answer customer questions and assist customers in a professional manner.
-Transfer knowledge to local install crews and first/ second line engineers.
-Prepare written technical reports if required.
-System qualification can take up to 6 weeks to complete.
-Expected to travel 50 - 75% of the time to customers worldwide.
-Expected to work inside the clean room, working with mechanical and electrical equipment. EducationBS degree (Engineering, Metrology, Mathematics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, (Applied) Physics) or equivalent experience. ExperienceMechanical aptitude, and knowledge of electronics and/or semiconductor processes. Knowledge of safety procedures required.
