CSCM FO manager Job Description
The Customer Supply Chain Management Regional Manager position will be responsible for executing on China Logistics tasks related to escalations, inventory management for key KPI's,
warehouse and transportation operation management, UIR event management, staff development, customs process adherence, and customer intimacy.
- Escalations / Process ControlRespond to and oversee the process of incoming emergency parts orders from various locals.
- Enter and execute administrative controls in the SAP system.
- Communicate directly with internal customers to ensure that their needs are understood, communicated and fulfilled.
- Monitor and follow up with daily escalations through technical support.
- Planning and Field Support
- Main contact for the local CS Service organization.
- Oversee the replenishment and allocation of parts throughout assigned region.
- Analyze and review usage of local service and sales parts based on historical data and/or projected requirements.
- Optimize spare part and tool planning mechanism in assigned region, completing analysis on all
- platforms.
- Monitor critical parts and ensure effective coverage.
- Manage complex upgrades for the local field office in conjunction with VHV SCM, CS and 3PL supplier in regards to delivery schedules and planning.
- Provide back up support for all country Field location offices.
- UIR field operation Prepare and manage the supply chain field factory for system installs (~100
- systems/yr); complex system upgrades; system relocations;.
- Manage SCM Field Factory OPEX, Capex and SCM Field Factory inventory.
- Enable the team to deliver the committed set of key performance indicators.
- Review progress with all main stakeholders/ customers.
Performance Management- Ensure DTWP and fill rate targets are met; NAV’s are analyzed for root causes and
- corrective actions. Secure relevant performance reporting to stakeholders.
- Align with local CS and Account Team on total demand plan (Service, FCO’s, Install, UF) and matching supply plan on different planning horizons (short-medium-long); includes specifics on NPI’s, such as definition and release status.
- Improve cooperation between local and central logistics covering volume and NPI’s.
- Customer Intimacy
- Improve customer intimacy within the local organization. Understand CS local operations and work in conjunction to improve.
- Meet with and provide complex reports to the external customer.
- Meeting customers of global and local background, understand customer requirements and manage to listen, clarify, and interpret into actionable items with end to end follow up.
CSCM FO manager Job Requirements
- 5-10 years of relevant field experience in a complex customer oriented (logistics) environment (minimum Bachelor degree in Business Engineering or Supply Chain, preferable master degree);
- Experience in service or spares logistics with direct customer interface is highly preferred;
- Work with consulting background specialized in SCM solution also acceptable
- Strong operation experience in planning, warehousing, transportation, customs operation, or at least some of them
- Experience in leading a team spread over different sitesKnowledge of business complexity, supply chain and/or relevant industry
- Analytical and able to organize and prioritize workload(should be in personal skills)
- Experience in defining and implementing of new processes across the supply chain against agreed costs, proven record on (continuous) improvement-projects
- Know how about Materials Requirement Planning (MRP)
