Introduction
Within the sector Customer Support (CS) the LEAN & Business Programs office (LBP) is responsible for all major Non-Product-related structural improvements including the implementation of Lean in the WW CS organization (~ 5000 FTE)The LBP office has a mission to improve the maturity, efficiency and/or quality of the Customer Support organization. This is achieved by:
• Driving and realizing a portfolio of Non-Product related improvement projects
• Implementation of the ASML Lean model in the Customer Support Organization
• Maintaining and improving upon a repository of standardized CS Way of Workings (e.g. Processes descriptions, Roles & Responsibilities and Key Performance Indicators)
Job Mission
The Lean Deployment Lead uses his/her deep knowledge Lean Implementations, ASML CS best-practices and/or broad experience in similar industries together with proven Project Management and Change Management skills to Drive & mature the implementation of Lean in CS NPI&NTR segment part of the CS Organization. This segment consist out of ~ 1500 employees in 12 offices (NL, US, Korea, Taiwan).
Job Description
In close cooperation with a multitude of internal and external stakeholders the Lean Deployment Leader translates the strategic Lean Deployment roadmap into a concrete Lean deployment plan for the segment.
The Lean Deployment Lead will realize the Lean deployment plan within the constrains set leveraging as much of the rest of the CS organization as possible. Your main leverage will be through dedicated Lean Experts in the various offices. Active participation in the Lean Competence Center to further shape and refine the ASML LEAN Deployment standard. This will require a strong self-drive, excellent stakeholder management and a continuous fine tuning of the Change Management component of your deployment plan.
In order to be successful the Lean Deployment Lead is participating in the NPI&NTR management team as a business partner for both reasons to help on the understanding of ASML CS service operation and to leverage on the management acting as a Lean coach on this group. A well-developed own vision based upon a deep understanding is essential to be successful.
Education
• Master degree in business administration, industrial engineering or technical area.
• Lean Black Belt, or equivalent
Experience
Essential experience for this position:
• Over 8 year of Lean Deployment experience, preferably combined with relevant experience in managing and implementing Change in large, decentralized, international organizations
• Extensive experience with culture change and the soft aspects/people aspects of organizational development
Of additional value for this position:
• Extensive experience of business experience in different roles in a Customer Support or similar environment including operational responsibilities and with a clear process improvement mindset
• Proven experience in a different industry like automotive, pharmaceutical or food industry
• Additional job-related knowledge and/or managerial experience: operational (hands-on) experience in Service, Logistics, (Lean) manufacturing and/or industrial engineering environment, (senior) line management roles in operations, knowledge of financial management
• Experience in consultancy in high-tech and/or service environments
