Business architect Job Description

IntroductionManage the Comptences, Learning & Knowledge management architecture within the Operations sectors. A challenging Business/IT position in one of the most technical developed companies in the world. OSE (Operations Strategies and Excellence), operates in a high demanding, fast moving, dynamic and professional environment.Job MissionBased on the defined ASML business goals, you need to define solutions for supporting Competence Centers and Competence Networks within Operations, and align ASML-wide on Knowledge Management solutions in general, balancing required functionality, performance and cost. You are responsible for consulting the business on how to best use the change management and collaboration tools, how to apply the new ways of working, and how to best tie them into the business processes. This also involves new demand intake based on business strategy and coaching new teams. Job Description-Aligns and agrees activities with the Competence Maturity Manager
-Define Operations learning and knowledge management and collaboration requirements and strategy aligned with ASML's business goals
-Drive the overall Knowledge management architecture in close cooperation with the other related functions in ASML, (e.g. IT Enterprise Architect, D&E Competences, Global Quality, Learning Centers, Corporate Security, …)
-Develop and deploy knowledge management Framework, Policies & Guidelines for Operations regarding process, infrastructure & applications, ensuring compliance with the current IT Security Policy and Standards.
-Architect, design and realize secure solutions in support of ASML’s initiatives using industry best practices, (includes feasibility studies and executing proof-of-concepts to test new innovation
-Support Competence Owners with robust solutions for supporting their Competence communities
-Monitor and report on Knowledge management technology trends and requirements, such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities.
-Co-manage the Competence maturity framework for Operations; including effective stakeholder management at sector-staff levels, as well as coaching competence teams.
-Designs, coordinates and executes the program’s Change strategy & Communication plan, Pro-actively leverages and maintains a change agent network
-Acts as ‘sparring partner’ for the Competence Maturity Manager and team.
This is a fulltime payroll position (preferably 40 hours per week). EducationMaster degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferably background in the area of IT, Business Engineering and/or Organizational sciences.Experience-Has 10 year business experience in Project and Program Management in a large multi-national environment,
-Has experience in projects/programs in relevant business areas (manufacturing, supply chain, business planning, customer support, quality) within a technical industrial environment and with an IT component
-7+ years of experience in working in complex project environments and environments with the integration of multiple business applications, including knowledge of Collaboration, Business Process frameworks and Knowledge Management.
-5+ years of experience as an (IT) solution architect in Software development environments, knowledgeable about technologies and concepts. We are looking for someone who has extensive knowledge of SharePoint and also knows the collaboration landscape and the tools and types of functionality involved (e.g. SharePoint, Lync, Search, Yammer, Video, etc).
-Knowledge of enterprise architecture
