CSCM Supply Chain Tactical Planning Expert Job Description

Introduction
Are you the Supply Chain Analyst/ Tactical Planning Expert that can drive cost reduction throughout the Customer Supply Chain network? You are responsible for defining optimal stock settings and prevent out of stock situations.  You closely collaborate with worldwide supply chain stakeholders on supply chain settings. You have potential and ambition to further develop to a leadership position.

Job Mission
You will steer the global supply chain network by setting the norm levels for inventories and emergency shipments together with key stakeholders in the customer value chain e.g., Platform Lifecycle Management, Supply, Delivery, Field. You will be challenged on how your plans will deliver ASML’s committed customer service against optimal cost.

Job Description

• Prepares stocking strategies, aligns with our internal stakeholders and implements the plans in day-to-day operations;
• Analyzes customer supply chain processes to drive down supply chain costs, by leading and participating in improvement projects;
• Define planning strategies for parts and tools – quarterly review of defined strategies;
• Convert usage forecast into safety stock and emergency shipment norm levels for supply hubs and local warehouses and related supply chain flows (replenishment, local delivery);
• Highlight any deviations between usage forecast and inventories/supply and resolve within Integral Service Planning process.

CSCM Supply Chain Tactical Planning Expert Job Requirements

Education
Relevant Master degree (e.g Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Business Administration, Supply chain or Engineering).

Experience

• Experience with optimization algorithms in service logistics;
• Has > 5 years’ experience in service supply chain planning (demand and/or supply);
• Strong in statistics and stochastic processes;
• Familiar with ERP – preferably SAP

• Analytical, pro-active personality taking initiative;
• Business sense, commercial attitude and customer-focus;
• Proficient Excel and Access skills (needs to be able to change queries in Access);
• Structured way of working (eye for detail);
• Is able to both, speak and write, English and Dutch fluently;
• Communicates professionally;
• Is flexible, has no 9 to 5 mentality;
• Is process oriented;
• Is able to do change management;
• Is able to manage many stakeholders;
