As a productivity engineer you will be part of the team that integrates a wide variety of Hardware, Software and other deliveries into one system that performs at a specified level.
Job Mission
The Productivity Engineer is responsible for the quality during the integration of one complete system. Integration is done on both functional level and on performance level on one of the key performance indicators ASML’s systems: Productivity. He or she defines the optimal test/qualification strategy to achieve good function and performance, and takes part in execution of this strategy on one or more platforms. During integration, the productivity engineer will analyses complex system issues and support in the definition and testing of the solution for such issues.
Job Description
Overview of main activities
- define integration and test strategy on productivity deliverables: which items are needed in which order to perform stepwise integration into one system
- support/participate in integration productivity tests on the system;
- report on system integration productivity progress, test results and the system’s functionality and performance;Main Responsibilities- Analyses and reports on machine data
- Creates productivity test performance specifications (TPS)
- Creates recipes specific for productivity TPSs and customer specific requests
- Reviews TPSs with possible Productivity impact
- Fills Budget Breakdown Status Report with machine data
- Executes the daily work in accordance with the Productivity team plan
- Interfaces with system test engineers, project leads, PEs, configuration engineers, upgrade integrators and project architects/engineers
- Reports to Productivity Project Leader and Productivity Architect
Education
Technical Msc or PhD
Experience
- Hands on work experience in ASML machines or integration experience or other systems;
- Experience in integration activities, e.g. as integrator in multidisciplinary project.
- Experience/knowledge of software is preferredPersonal skills- Analytically strong, enthusiastic, flexible, assertive, proactive, structured;
- Ability to interface/cooperate with different people on different organizational levels;
- Ability/willingness to attend additional courses;
- Ability/willingness to work at local sites for short periods (max. 2 weeks/year).
