Overview: The Regional Sales Manager, Europe is responsible for maximizing sales order volume by proactively prospecting, identifying opportunities with new and existing customers, closing the sale and processing the order for a specific class of product or for a specific territory.
General Position Description:
Territory Sales Manager:
· Drive activities to a sales order value target or quota, maximize total sales orders received in territory
· Maintain sales account plans for an assigned list of customers in territory
· Work with Ambrell customers to identify and close new sales orders. Facility customer satisfaction as a point of escalation.
· Proactively prospect, identifying opportunities with new and existing customers, closing the sale and processing the order for a specific class of product or for a specific territory.
· Prospect for new opportunities based on defined inside sales campaigns, outbound calling, a plan and a targeted base of opportunities. This may be new customers or existing customers.
· Aggressively pursue Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) generated through Marketing campaigns, website and trade shows.
· Provide compelling reasons to buy from Ambrell that are meaningful to each particular customer
· Use social media including Linked-in, Facebook, Twitter, the internet and industry databases to prospect and research companies and people
· Identify prospects with a longer timeline, record the customer requirement in and arrange for lead nurturing and timely follow up
Account Management
· Facilitate customer satisfaction as a point of escalation when called upon due to customer experience issues
· Maintain positive business and personal relationships with customers, always being in contact with key customer employees from the shop floor to the executive suite
Activity Management:
· Maintain an up-to-date information on all sales activities using the corporate CRM system, entering all relevant data and following corporate guidelines and policy
· Maintain an accurate forecast of opportunities for the current quarter plus four quarter into the future.
Capture in CRM all activities to demonstrate your level of effort and to gauge your effective use of time. All management activity reports will be created out of the CRM database.
· May assist at industry trade shows, helping in planning for the show, the company exhibit booth and with set-up and tear-down.
Proficient at using social media including Linked-in, Twitter, Faceboo
Aptitudes and Skills Required:
· Fluent in native language and English. Fluent in French, Spanish or Italian is strongly preferred
· Excellent ability to bring a sense of customer-focus and professional ethics to all things.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Continuously exhibit the highest levels of professional discretion as a technical representative of Ambrell in all customer relationships.
· Energetic, curious, resourceful, highly creative and self-motivated. Able to thrive in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment.
· Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
· Excellent autonomous problem solving ability.
· Ensure that all activities are in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
· Supports Ambrell on a global basis.
· Provide support to department colleagues as necessary.
· Collaborative with Ambrell global teams and individuals, suppliers and customers. Work as a team member and actions demonstrate leadership and trust.
· Communications – consistent, clear concise and proactive communications with co-workers and customers of relevant project, project, work order and customer information.
· Must hold a valid passport and driver’s license
