Introduction
Do you have an Electrical Engineer background (HTS or MTS and with 10 years' of relevant work experience) and are your safety minded? Would you like to do technical inspection of electrical test setups and lab equipment? Would you be the sparring partner for our setup owners for structural safety improvements for our 400 test setups. Influencing without power is one of your strenghs.
Job Mission
As Inspector Electrical Test Set-ups you provide expertise in operational safety and product safety. You are responsible for the technical safety inspections of all lab equipment within D&E. The main focus of the Operational safety expert is to perform electrical inspections. The purpose of the electrical inspection is to verify that a test setup is in accordance with the safety regulations / legislation and the specified technical requirements of the relevant standards.
The standards for these setups are based on NEN3140, NEN3840, NEN EN60204-1, NFPA79 and the local safety standards.The Inspector Electrical Test Set-ups is a sparring partner of the ERP (Electrical Responsible Person), supporting in structural solutions for lab equipment and test setups. The Electrical Safety Expert also supports in the process to nominate engineers within the D&E organization for electrical work and he/she has a supporting role in the incident management system.
