The role
We are looking for an experienced engineering trainer to establish and maintain a departmental training plan addressing the needs of our teams for current and next generation satellite systems. We need a training specification for each team member, with a plan of how training activities are going to be sourced and executed. You will need to define, prepare and support the delivery of training to our Controller team members that allows them to achieve certification and maintain their efficiency, recording training results in our database. This is a fast-paced environment, so training materials need to be kept up to date and must remain relevant to our satellite missions.
You will be able to demonstrate your experience of planning, managing and implementing technical training. You must understand the full range of training tools and techniques and be capable of creating e-learning content. You will work with internal and external training providers, but you also need the ability to prepare training materials and to deliver content confidently yourself.
Quality assurance is key, so we will expect you to evaluate outcomes to ensure that our training provision maintains operational efficiency.
What we offer
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative, international environment offering you a competitive salary and outstanding benefits. We offer the chance to work on exciting satellite programmes - both current and planned. You will play a leading role in the training of our teams involved in satellite operations. This is a chance to collaborate with people who are experts in their field.
