Formation Physics and Well Integrity department seeks Research scientist - Well Integrity group. We are looking for ambitious and innovative research scientists to join our well integrity team at SINTEF Petroleum Research.
The group:
The Well integrity group is part of the Formation Physics and Well Integrity department in SINTEF Petroleum Research. The group works on research and consultancy projects related to different aspects of well integrity. Typical topics are studies of well components and well integrity failure mechanisms, solutions for improved well monitoring, well barrier verifications and assessments, and qualifications and assessments of new technologies. A main emphasis for our activity is ensuring well integrity during well planning, well production and after well abandonment. We collaborate closely with other parts of SINTEF and other research institutes, NTNU and other universities.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities include performing research and development work within the department activities described above. We seek candidates able to manage both single and multi-client projects.

Qualifications:
We seek candidates with university degrees (PhD., MSc. or equivalent) within petroleum engineering, material science, mechanical engineering, chemistry, physics or equivalent. Recognized petroleum experience is appreciated. Sales and marketing skills are important, as well as good co-operative and communication skills.
