Our client is an applied research center providing high fidelity numerical simulation methods and tools to design innovative products.
Technology leader in modeling and numerical simulation, mainly active in Aeronautics, our client operates a top supercomputing infrastructure among the world 500 most powerful systems and experimental facilities in composite manufacturing and prototyping.
To sustain its growth in the field of fracture mechanics and fatigue crack growth analysis, we are looking for the following profile:
Research Engineer in charge of several tasks in regional and European research projects involving numerical simulations of fatigue crack growth, probabilistic approaches, manufacturing process simulation.
Candidates should:
· Hold a university degree in engineering or a PhD (Mechanical engineering, Materials science,
Aeronautics, …)
· Have a good knowledge of fracture mechanics and related simulation methods
· Master several tools amongst the most common CAD & CAE software: eg. Catia V5, Samcef, Abaqus,Ansys, …
· Be fluent in English and, preferably, in French as well
Required Skills:
Stress, fracture mechanics, fatigue crack growth.
