A very interesting position for an engineer who feels challenged in improving the production process to ensure product quality, optimal Availability, short lead-times and ‘short time to market’ for Production and Service

Job Mission
Work preparation for New Products in terms of work instructions, tools and training on the shopfloor
Support to structurally improve cycle time, system availability and solve urgent issues

Job Description
-Input for manufacturability and serviceability of designs
-Analyses the Technical documentation from D&E for information and specifications needed
-Prepare procedures for factory and service operations
-Review design of tools and release tools to manufacturing and service based on needed validation steps
-Owner of training packages regarding work preparation to factory and in the field

Manufacturing & Equipment Engineer Job Requirements

Education
Bachelor degree within Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Electrical or other similar educations

Experience
2-5 years of experience in:
-a  service or production environment with high tech products and complex production processes
-work preparation
-motivating development into acceptable solution
-mechanical structures and in system lifting appliances
-electrical steering and control softwarePersonal skills-Broad technical and business knowledge
-Good communication skills
-Get-on and do it mentality
-Very active, plenty of initiative
-Focused on quality, continuous improvement, good social and communication skills

-Affinity with installations and interconnections

Context of the position
The goal of Manufacturing and Service Engineering is to industrialize ASML products while development is going on, embedding a system’s industrial performance (cycle time, reliability, availability, and cost) into the specifications and early in the design phase.

This means thinking about the manufacturing environment, to the use and maintenance at the customer site, and to take into consideration lessons learned from the past. If we focus on product industrialization early, we can prevent most of the manufacturing and quality problems in our factory as well as at the suppliers and even improve our delivery time.

IE’s role is to leverage concurrent engineering and to do things in parallel, working as a team with D&E, CS, Manufacturing, Sourcing – every department involved in the Product Generation Process (PGP).

The results will never be exclusive of IE: our goal is the success of the Programs, and we want to contribute as part of the team to the achievement of the Program targets, from industrialization aspects to time to market.
