Introduction
The Customer Support Applications Engineering team is part of the Customer Service (CS) organization. CS is responsible for the installation, qualification, repair, maintenance and optimization of ASML products at our customers’ sites and is responsible for the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer. For New Product (NPI), the CS Applications Engineering NPI team ensures that customer and support requirements for new products are embedded, that there is a smooth introduction of new products to the fields and that there is a smooth transition for the CS organization from NPI to high volume operation.
Job Mission
The job mission of the NPI project lead within the Applications Engineering organization is to lead and represent CS applications in the Product Team. The project lead/applications representative’s objective is to define requirements and drive adoption of ASML products and services by driving product design to match the requirements of the customer, by showing the value based on-product performance and by ensuring product sustainability and supportability based on the customer use cases. The CS Applications Engineering NPI Project Lead/Applications Representative manages the applications aspect of the development project through the Product Generation Process (PGP), and is the key interface for the worldwide field applications community with regards to the introduction of the new products.
