Introduction
Are you analytically strong while having broad machine interest? Can you do detailed analysis, while keeping overview and remaining pragmatic? You have good sense for manufacturability (both machining as integrating and adjusting modules)?
You like working with many interfaces on various levels and disciplines (System Engineers, Architects, Project Engineers)? You are critical and creative at same time? Are you capable in doing 4 o’clock sessions?

Job Mission
Define the mechanical system tolerances (part of SDS mechanical architecture). Secure that all stages and handlers (like WS,WH) have sufficient range, sensors are accurately positioned (like SPM, LS) and modules have sufficient clearance (prevent dynamic shortcuts, (seismic) machine damage). Find creative solutions where needed.
Job Description
Owner system tolerances chapter in SDS
Find solutions incase of new hardware or tightened specifications
Drive concepts to decisions.
Involve SE incase of system trade-offs
Write TPS/TAR (statistical data analysis)
