Job Description
In Wilton, CT, ASML seeks Senior Mechanical Design Engineer I to join the Development and Engineering department designing and developing mechanics for some of the highest precision products in the world; develops portions of the lithography system and/or associated tooling; works on sub-systems involving mechatronics, high precision mechanics, optics and optomechanics; considers kinematics, dynamics, material properties, structural, dynamic, and thermal analysis, and optical sensitivity analysis; understands functional requirements and deriving specifications, including tolerance and alignment budgets; collaborates with system architects in a multidiscipline project team to develop concepts, performs engineering analysis, builds and tests prototypes, generates detailed CAD designs, creates engineering drawings, partners with suppliers, and supports system integration and tests; designs, researches and
develops new products and innovative changes to existing products to ensure timely realization of competitive, serviceable products that keep the semiconductor industry moving forward.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience, including mechanical design expertise in kinematics, dynamics, material properties and behavior, and structural analysis;
