Introduction
How would you mastermind a fully automated, real-time, high-tech Building Management System? It covers over 45 different types of technical utility systems. How would you build on what we already have, and deliver a new “central nervous system” for our 10,000-people campus and 60,000 sqm of cleanroom? One that would provide all the data we need to maximize facility performance and minimize risk and cost. If you have some ideas, we would like to meet you.
Job Mission
Your mission is to improve our industrial automation and control, and building management systems. This will involve the application of “smart building” principles, telemetry and other Industry 4.0 elements, such as IoT. What are the opportunities of creating a "smart factory"? By improving our systems you will increase quality and simultaneously reduce costs.
However, while you mission may be straightforward, the means to achieve it are complex, challenging and require vision and creativity. That is because we have many systems and processes in place, and although they may appear to be working properly, we believe there is still much to be gained from visualizing performance and optimizing the systems. And of course, by helping to design and specify entirely new facilities on our ever growing campus.
This is a highly ambitious task, and you will be expected to prioritize and take your own lead. It’s also one that offers enormous opportunity to deliver highly valuable and measurable results.
