Introduction:
Do you want to work at the world market leader in scanning lithography technology ASML in the software department where we deal with the largest code base in one archive ClearCase?
Would you like to work in our new software platform where we work with facilitating software (generic code for communication between tasks/hosts; machine configuration; machine diagnostics; generic user interface components; etc.) to give support to the complete ASML software community, create fixes, adding diagnostics but also document and add FAQ for the code made in C, Python and for a small part in C++ ?

Job Mission:
The Platform Development Software Engineer will join the support team where he helps people by answering questions, defining solution proposals and make small fixes to help solve issues using mainly C and sometimes C++ or Python.
Job Description:
For a lot of issues it is not directly clear what might be the root cause which could also be outside the group. Therefor we expect that ownership is taken and interaction with stakeholders and people outside the group is started. This can take place under time pressure so you should be able to cope with that. In terms of soft skills, a big challenge will be to find the right people to help you and to be able to make them willing to help you. The following activities are part of the job:
• Adapt and extend the current framework including the belonging test suite.
• Deliver the required support to stakeholders and clients.
• Report daily on your progress in stand up meetings.
• Propose improvements were possible
