Job Mission
In our customer fabs, time is money, and every minute spent performing a service action is a minute that the machine isn't producing chips. Additionally, it's becoming increasingly important for procedures to be straightforward and easy to understand and implement without relying on the help of D&E experts. As an Industrial Engineer in the software support team you play a crucial part in this process.The engineer continuously improves reliability, availability and serviceability of the ASML products at the customer site. This means specification of service and diagnostic requirements, co-design of new products, integration, validation and continuous improvement of volume equipment. It includes technical support to local service organization in the field of software, software architecture, user interface, Linux, Fab automation, application software etc.
Job Description
In the ASML product life cycle, the engineer has the following responsibilities:Represent the customer support sector in the product creation phase and make sure the service requirements are implementedTake care of new product introduction towards field organizationTake care of structural improvements and feedback on structural improvements towards development teamReview technical documentation to determine the Industrialization impactDefine service documentation, spare parts and tooling for the global service organizationPrepare knowledge transfer from development to local service organizationsAnalyze global product performance and define requirements for co-design improvement
Education
Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics or other related studies.
Experience
Experience in servicing and developing machine software in a high-tech environmentA proven track record in writing technical documentation Experience in the area of UNIX/LINUX configuration, user interface, software architecture, FAB automation/dashboard concepts, network protocols and other production quality related topics.Basic knowledge on Webservices, XML
You have a strong quality and service oriented mindset You bring a vision on our global service strategy, requirements, roadmap, training and WoW and have the ability to execute on these topics
Personal skills
