This is the Role
As Technical Service Representative Textile Yarn you will be the technical support specialist for our customers. You have a solid knowledge base in technical service and application development for knitting, weaving, dyeing and finishing processes. You provide support to our customers in the Fibers segment to ensure continued problem-free use of Naia® products. Next to that you also provide technical support and will be trouble shooting where necessary.
You can translate the specific customer demands to an actual Eastman solution and you’re able to assist our clients in the implementation. Being able to support launches of new products into the market place, you can not only influence Eastman’s growth but also contribute to technical innovation in general.
You will be working together with our key customers to make sure they reach their highest potential with our products possible. For small customers as well as big multinationals all over Europe, with all its challenges related to different countries, geographical distances and special customer expectations. A very challenging role in a dynamic international environment!
Please note that in this role you will be travelling for around 75 % of your time (Western Europe).

As a Technical Service Representative you’ve got excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. You are self-motivated and able to work both independently and as a team member with Sales, Marketing, Technology, Manufacturing and other internal and external partners.
You’ve got the ability to champion ideas within a large organization and to lead project teams and improvement initiatives. You are result oriented, customer focused and you work effectively in a busy, rapidly changing multilingual, multi-cultural environment.
