EUMETSAT is Europe’s meteorological satellite agency. Its role is to establish and operate meteorological satellites to monitor the weather and climate from space - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This information is supplied to the National Meteorological Services of the organisation's Member and Cooperating States in Europe, as well as other users worldwide.
EUMETSAT also operates several Copernicus missions on behalf of the European Union and provide data services to the Copernicus marine and atmospheric services and their users.

Bringing together the resources of 30 member states, EUMETSAT observes the atmosphere, ocean, and land surfaces from space using a system of satellites 365 days a year. Our data is vital for weather forecasts that help to protect lives and property, as well as monitoring the environment and our changing climate. We need 2 ICT Engineers to manage, maintain and enhance our systems in a rapidly changing environment.
We require Systems Engineers who have experience of VMware hypervisors, VDI, Microsoft Servers and NetApp storage. You will be able to apply your knowledge to ensure that our ICT services remain available within the organisation and with external computing infrastructures. Experience of a project management methodology (PRINCE2), and having worked in an ITIL or ISO9001 environment would be advantageous.
