This is the Role
The New Business Development Manager identifies, develops and closes opportunities with new and existing customers and brand owners in DACH region as well as Scandinavia.
In pursuit of the targets for growth, the Business Development Manager identifies and prioritizes current customers and prospects, prepares a Territory Management Plan to organize face-to-face meetings with key contacts from which business opportunities and relationships are developed and maintained.
As a natural networker, you have an intimate understanding of customer’s products, processes, and operations – allowing you to address their needs more precisely and execute the joint value creation relationship with the customer.

This role requires the ability to think strategically and execute methodically. Furthermore, you bring a highly-developed business acumen, technical capabilities and strong communication and collaboration skills. You hold a Bachelor degree, preferably in polymers, science or engineering with business background, and at least 5+ years of experience in new business development within specialty chemical products/ solutions environment. Fluency in German is strongly preferred.
General working knowledge of engineering polymers used in injection molded and extruded products, knowledge of properties, processing characteristics, and pricing of clear polymers, including polycarbonate, acrylic, clear ABS, clear PVC, and SAN would be an asset.
