The software to be supported is used to control and monitor High-Throughput Catalyst Screening Systems, developed by the company. Those systems are in use to perform contract research and at our customers sites worldwide. Our workflow is based on SQL Server databases and software tools built in C#.
Tasks for the Software Support Engineer include the support of the software and the databases for both internal and external customers. This support will cover the complete life-cycle of projects including the installation and startup of the new units, the day-to-day troubleshooting and maintenance and upgrades. Therefore the Software Support Engineer will travel all over the world up till 50% of the time.
An active involvement in the further development of the software platform is also expected.
