Senior Electronics Engineer Job Description

Under general supervision, this individual will work with small project teams. The right candidate will have to:

• Analogic circuit design including RF design with a strong experience in design simulation tools 
• Digital circuit design with a strong experience in FPGA Design
• PCB Design Review
• Embedded software architecture
• Act as a competent interface to all connected disciplines in the execution of a project
• Demonstrate excellent competence in Planning and Risk Management
• Be able to clearly communicate and discuss ideas 
• Develop and support colleagues with their personal development in the respective disciplines (Eg. Mechanics, DSP, Electronics, Software)
• Be able to clearly communicate and provide clear summarised reports to management
• Consider business aspects during important decision making processes within projects/product development
• Provide a fresh approach and when appropriate questions existing procedures, tools and methods
• Positively influence projects through personal behaviour and attitude, being a role-model in terms of integrity, loyalty and behaviour
• Demonstrate dedication and discipline

Senior Electronics Engineer Job Requirements

Applicable background

• Excellent communications skills both written and oral
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of laboratory test equipment: oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, etc.
• Assets:
  • ESA documentation experience
  • Experience in Satellite Engineering or Payload development
  • Experience in embedded Linux

• Master’s Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent, every specialization is an asset
• Minimum 7 years related experience in Analog and Digital System Architecture
