Process Engineer Job Description

Responsibilities
After an appropriate training, you will:

• Perform day to day monitoring and troubleshooting of the plant to ensure that production and efficiency are maximized.  Identify problems and recommends solutions (process parameters, equipment upgrade, new equipment definition).
• Define and optimize the settings for the first order (in collaboration with the R&D when appropriate)
• Participate to or lead the selection and implementation of new production equipment (trial at supplier, commissioning, and operator training, troubleshooting…)
• Maintain and develop IT tools used in production (SAP, MES).
• Work closely with others department such as development, quality control, planning and maintenance.
• Perform various kinds of audit (Safety, ISO9001, and ISO14001)
• Ensure regular training of the production team

Process Engineer Job Requirements

Requirements

• Master in Industrial, production or (electro) mechanical Engineering
• Junior are welcome with first experience in a manufacturing environment and familiar with continuous improvement methods (lean, 6 sigma, kaizen…)
• French Fluent with a very good command of English to evolve into our international environment
• Proficient in Ms Office, Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Good sense of urgency and priorities, organized
• Demonstrate high level of analytical ability, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability in project management skills.
• SAP, EH&S, ISO9001/ISO14001 experience are a plus

Process Engineer Application Information

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the process engineer manages the day-to-day operations of the plants including the improvements of the productivity of the machines, the definition, recommendation and implementation of the new production equipment.
