Project Manager Solar Product Development Job Description

In this function at the heart of the Mastervolt R&D team you will be the main liaison between production partners, suppliers, customers, development engineers and all relevant internal departments. In this - if anything - versatile function you will work closely with several internal disciplines and together execute the relevant development projects. You will maintain contact with the production partner even after the completion of the project for the maintenance (sustaining engineering) of the developed products. The job includes the drafting of development targets, generating integrated project timelines and monitoring it’s progress, helping the engineers to make the correct decisions, communication with the production partners. The job will require a “hands on” mentality and when required  you must be willing to participate in actual technical testing etc of the products. The development project will be in the Marine and Solar market but main focus will be the solar renewable energy PV inverters. The job requires traveling to Asia.  

Project Manager Solar Product Development Job Requirements

• Master or Bachelors Degree in electrical, mechanical engineering
• Minimum of three years experience in an engineering, application engineering, project management or similar job.
• Technical experience in Electrics is preferred.
• Work experience in an environment of technical quality products
• Have strong ambitions in the renewable energy
• Dutch and English must be fluent
• Knowledge of project Management and known tools is required
• You can and are willing to travel internationally on a regular base
• You are willing to help the team with requires hands on jobs
