SARA is looking for a technical consultant/scientific software developer (Adviseur/Wetenschappelijk programmeur) to help deliver high-quality scalable services for researchers in the Netherlands.
Your task will be to assist academic researchers in their use of the High Performance Computing Cloud infrastructure as is available at SARA. You will be working in the eScience and Cloud Services team, getting to know the ins and outs of the HPC Cloud infrastructure and be in direct contact with our academic users.

We work closely together with researchers from High Energy Physics, Life Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Astronomy, Engineering, and various other disciplines. Our users work with increasingly larger amounts of data which brings new challenges almost every day.
We are looking for a technical consultant with experience in eScience projects, Cloud computing, distributed computing and/or storage, who likes being close to research and likes working for and with people.
