ASML business has matured rapidly over the years with thousands of our high tech litho DUV scanners in our customers sites. This adds the challenge to redesign not only new modules to meet the next customer nodes but also explicitly requires managing the lifecycle of ten-thousands of parts in our machine.


Job Description:

• As the Senior Project Manager you are end-to-end responsible to deliver substantial functionality  for a complex product and/or small  products  at product team level. You prepare for (Key Decisions) for Product Development. You own complex projects and key functions relating to the scanner. 
• In new product development you drive the realization of a deliverable within timing and budget and deliver the required performance complying with BL DUV's roadmap. You will be required to:
  • interface with other sector representatives to distribute the identified work breakdown into the projects and ensure execution power is in place;
  • enforce required decisions to secure timing of deliverables in sync with the product generation process (PGP);
  • secure integration of deliverables into the entire system (consisting of a set of modules);
  • be responsible for budget, cost, timing and organization;
  • interact regularly with customers, suppliers and other external stakeholders;
  • manage deliverables and activities in multiple time zones requiring a flexible approach to working hours.

• The Senior Project Manager owns a subset of a program delivering new products with a wide set of technical improvements (e.g. overlay, focus, productivity, imaging). The timelines are either driven by
• the ASML roadmap or market demand.
• Multiple suppliers and also deliverables from other programs contribute to the program deliverables. Typically all customers benefit, but in most cases one (or a few) customers have
  • the  benefit of the early access to newly implemented capability.
  • You have interfaces with external and internal suppliers, Development & Engineering organization, customer support and other sectors within ASML.

Experience

• 10+ years experience in international high-tech industry, of which:
• 10+ years experience in running complex hardware related projects.
• Msc with a technical oriented study (Mechanical, electrical, mechatronics etc)

• Proven leadership with (technical) content.
• Experience with machine/system integration.
• Ability to work independently or in team settings in highly ambiguous environments.
• Demonstrated ability to perform in high-pressure environments.
• Proven track record in building and maintaining professional relationships.
• preferably experience within a high tech environment
