ASML - Application and Data Security manager Job Description
You lead a group of subject matter experts in your domain. You are playing a key role in shaping ASML's future in the IT Security management domain. Your focus areas are Data, Application and Cloud Security. You have a clear vision on setting improvement targets and driving assurance in these domains. You ensure that business and IT services are aligned to deliver maximum value to ASML at acceptable risk, in close collaboration with IT O&I and the other security domain managers in the IT Security competence center.
As an Application Security Manager you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Lead the solution team and secure an environment for personal development and growth for your team members.
- Develop strong alignment between business, and IT in general and key project partners in specific.
- Drive business and IT strategy alignment for establishing a secure IT ecosystem supporting ASML's business goals.- Take ownership as senior user in complex security projects that have impact across ASML. Take ownership for and have in-depth understanding of key project content, critical path and project dependencies in the field of Apps, Cloud and Data Storage.
- Tactical/Strategic Management:
- Keep abreast of the latest technology and application developments.- Generate continuous improvement proposals that focus on system performance, availability and process efficiency for end-users.
- At ASML we invent, develop and manufacture world-leading high tech lithography machines for our chip making customers. These tailor-made machines can image billions of structures in a few seconds with an accuracy of a few silicon atoms. ASML - Application and Data Security manager Job Requirements
Experience:
- HBO+ level or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Min 8+ years professional experience with a focus on information systems security, compliance and privacy
- Min 5+ years' experience managing enterprise-wide security policies and systems
- Able to design compliance and internal auditing programs
- Great coordinating work with all vendors, contractors and consultants to maintain and enhance data security
- Ability to think through complex problems, determine proper analytical processes and procedures, independently derive conclusions and present results to management
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills. Command of the Dutch language is a plus
- System and network related knowledge is required, application knowledge a plus
- Solid project management skills
- Able to summarize and communicate technical data to a non-technical audience
- Sound understanding of security technologies, techniques and best practices
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with internal customers and suppliers
- Experience in planning and managing security programs
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly-motivated, with a strong work ethic and able to work effectively under minimal supervision
