EUMETSAT is Europe’s meteorological satellite agency. Its role is to establish and operate meteorological satellites to monitor the weather and climate from space - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This information is supplied to the National Meteorological Services of the organisation's Member and Cooperating States in Europe, as well as other users worldwide.
EUMETSAT also operates several Copernicus missions on behalf of the European Union and provide data services to the Copernicus marine and atmospheric services and their users.

EUMETSAT is now inviting well qualified candidates from its Member States to apply for the following post:
As part of our development, we are recruiting two Configuration Management (CM) Engineers to provide CM Support for our operational systems. We want candidates with experience, a keen eye for detail and good interpersonal skills to work across our organisation to help us ensure our changes are managed and tracked effectively.
You will develop and maintain working practices across all our operational systems, ensuring baseline configurations of hardware and software, with related documentation, are properly set and maintained. You will support the meetings of the Change Control Boards, delivering regular reporting and providing metrics/KPIs. Using your expertise in the field, you will strive to continuously improve our CM processes.
