Introduction
Are you a hands-on project manager, with proven experience in implementing improvement projects and performing stakeholder management in an international business environment? And do you have the knowledge, interest and skills to also work on the (technical) improvement content while keeping the projects on track? If so, this is the right role for you!
Job Mission
As project manager business improvements, your key objective is to continuously improve the business performance and thereby realizing the yearly goals and targets in line with the Business Unit Warehouse Automation and Parcel (BU WP) profitable growth strategy.
In practice, this means that you analyse, initiate, execute and embed business improvements on our improvement focus areas: customer satisfaction, product modularization and costs & complexity reduction. By doing so you are not only managing action lists and schedules, but you also offer hands-on support to the involved people and teams to speed things up.
Context of position
You will become part of the Continuous Improvement team of the Business Unit WP and you report to the manager improvements.
The BU WP is the part of the Vanderlande organisation responsible for the business in the market segments Warehouse Automation and Parcel in the larger part of Europe, USA, Asia and Australia.
Key activities include sales/business development including sales engineering, project delivery and realisation and services execution. WP is the fast-growing part of Vanderlande in the food market (e.g. AH, Woolworths), Fashion (e.g. Zalando, Nike), E-commerce (e.g. Amazon) and Parcel (e.g. UPS, DHL)
