Your position
In this challenging role, you will be part of our Continuous Acceleration (CA) Program Office (PO). Your role will be to run daily operations of the PO. This entails communications with the various stakeholders and actors in the programs belonging to the CA, reporting, and ensuring smooth progress of all programs. Among others, it will be your responsibility to:
- Support the CA board with organization, preparation and documentation of meetings;
- Support continuous acceleration projects and, if applicable, to manage small-scale projects in CA programs;
- Support development of project initiation charters and value cases;
- Support program owners with skills in project management and -reporting, as well as value realization and change impact reporting.

Your departmentThe board of Vanderlande has initiated the ‘Continuous Acceleration’ program to accelerate the realization of strategic changes. Specific strategic themes are assigned to dedicated program teams that focus at design and implementation of changes required to realize the Vanderlande how to win strategy. The Continuous Acceleration program management office governs and supports the execution of these strategic programs.
Program Management Officer Job Requirements
Your profile
In order to be successful in this role, you will need at least a Bachelor or Master degree in business administration, project management based discipline or related field. Also, fluency in English (written, verbal, presentation) and excellent skills in MS Office applications is a requirement. Furthermore, we are looking for:
- High analytical capabilities and solid business mindset.
- Project management experience
- Good organization and structure skills
- Understanding of what a project is all about and ambition to develop project management skill set (and lead projects in the future)
- Basic understanding of project financials
- Understanding of value drive / KPI definition and measuring
- Admin skills
- Office 365 experience, capable of working with SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
