You could be the perfect match for our Device Development team who are responsible for development, design, functionality and regulatory approval of medical devices. We are busy in getting new products to the market and need new colleagues to join our team.
The position
The current vacancies are based in Device Development where we bring device projects from development candidate to launch readiness in collaboration with colleagues throughout Novo Nordisk. Our aim is to develop innovative devices that add value to patients and Novo Nordisk. Our obligation is to maximise the value of the current device portfolio within diabetes, growth disorder, haemophilia and new therapy areas.
You will join an international Development team of 70 passionate employees in Device Development. Many of us are mechanical engineers and we are proud to have a diverse mind-set. Here, you will become a member of one or more project teams working from the mid to the late phases of our device development pipeline.
Your work may involve mechanical design, analysis, problem solving, prototyping and testing both in the lab and with end-users. At all stages, you will document your work in line with pharmaceutical requirements.
Working cross-functionally within the organisation as well as with external stakeholders, you will find your working day both stimulating and dynamic.
You hold an academic degree within Mechanical Development and preferably have working experience in medical device development. Experience with the design control process for medical devices will be valued. You have worked with mechanical design of plastic components and mechanism design. You are skilled within mechanical disciplines like tolerance stack-ups, material selection as well as kinematic and structural analysis.
You might also have experience within and interest in project/task coordination.
You are a strong team player, but you also enjoy working independently and as a person you thrive in a busy environment. You bring a "can do" spirit, a healthy common sense and a good sense of humour to your work even when the pressure is on. You are analytical, structured, demonstrate attention to detail and have a flair for planning and coordinating. Proficiency in both oral and written English is essential.
