Functional Verification Engineer Job Description

We develop RF transceivers for smart phones, tablets, wearables, and other mobile wireless products, leveraging our unique advantages in monolithic integration of Mixed-Signal, RF, power management functions and comprehensive know-how in cellular hardware, software and systems development.In this position, you are joining a highly motivated team responsible for the digital portion of the IC interacting with the analog portion of these 2G/3G/4G/5G transceivers. Digital signal processing, microcontroller, bus systems, synchronous or asynchronous data interfaces or finite state machines are areas where you would be able to bring in your experience. Development of system use-cases, random constrained testbenches, formal verification, assertions and also directed tests are areas where you can bring in your capabilities and methodical knowledge to verify our complex mixed signal circuits. Developing these leading edge transceivers for fast growing and fast changing markets makes this a very challenging and interesting position.

Functional Verification Engineer Job Requirements

Must have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics or equivalent.
• Fluent English written and spoken is mandatory.
• Expertise in verification methodology and random constrained verification
• Knowledge of state of the art verification techniques like formal verification, coverage driven verification and Power Aware simulations
• Experience with digital circuit design
• Experience with EDA tools from vendors like Modelsim, Cadence or Synopsys and Matlab
• Experience in the execution of GateLevel simulations and basic knowledge on the design backend flow Open minded, likes to communicate, working with remote teams on multi sites
• Experience with scripting languages Python, Perl

• Experience in the field of mobile communication with focus on RF Transceiver
• Insights in mixed-signal/analog design
• German language is an advantage
