Senior Project Engineer Job Description

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Deliver system design for electro / hydraulic and all electric Workover Control Systems through engineering documentations and conducting design reviews by taking into account lessons learnt, quality, schedule, budget and scope specifications
• Ensure that the Workover Controls engineering scope is executed according to contracts, relevant standards and company procedures
• Responsible for compliance to regulations for health, safety, security and environment
• Checking and approving engineering output and technical information within area of assignment
• Liaise with project lead engineer and interfacing contractors to achieve understanding and agreement on requirements
• Provide technical support to engineering management, supply chain and vendors as required
• Report progress, deviation and recommendation promptly to engineering management

Senior Project Engineer Job Requirements

Qualifications and Personal Qualities:

• Relevant theoretical education (minimum B.Sc.) from automation / electronics / mechatronics
• Minimum 10 years relevant working experience in Oil & Gas industry with at least 5 years within the Workover System area
• Solid background within WO operations, WOCS design, hydraulic systems and components, electric systems and components in addition to experience with design of SIL systems
• Thorough understanding of relevant industry codes and standards
• Strong sense of ownership in securing results and in continuous improvements
• Strong commercial awareness, communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to perform as a team member, also in cross-cultural / multi-location teams
• Have the ability and initiative to develop and drive technical solutions
• Be independent and hands-on, show initiative and be structured in his/her daily work
