Job Description
As Solution Architect you will have a key position on defining strategies, roadmaps and implementation of new IT solutions within ASML Supply Chain Management, and supporting processes in the Logistics domain (warehouse management and field logistics).You will participate in evolving and influencing industry trends, technologies and directions. By taking the architectural lead in the execution of projects, you are responsible for implementing the new technologies. When required you will support hands on in implementation and optimization projects. You will be responsible for:
- Evaluating future technologies against business requirements, strategies and map them to IT capabilities;
- Ensuring compliance of architecture principles, policies and standards;
- Define a to-be architecture (in the context of an IT program or project) on multiple levels Business concepts / Architecture building blocks / Solution building blocks
- Align with other domain/solution architecture within IT and with business architects.
Context of the positionA sub-department within the IT organization is the Competence Center Sales & Operations. This Competence Center is responsible for providing the right IT systems for the core business processes of Sales and Operations (Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Logistics, Central Planning, Sourcing, Quality & Process Improvements and Facility Management).Customers of this department are internal customers, whose goal is to provide world class systems and services for all major chip makers around the world, and who therefore need the best tools available.
ASML - IT - Solution Architect SAP Logistics Job Requirements
- Academic level or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience- At least 7 years of experience as an IT Logistics architect on senior level;
- 10+ years of experience in other business and IT roles;
- Very experienced in delivering architectural principles, processes, infrastructure and solutions;
- A strong background at an architectural level in SAP Warehouse Management and Field Logistics (SAP/MM, SAP/WM, SAP/EWM, including integration with non-SAP systems);
- Experience with SAP /EWM is a strong pre;
- Experience with 3rd party logistics (3PL's, including integration of IT systems) is also a strong pre.
Personal skills- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Good team player with strong leadership skills;
- Strong ability of conceptual thinking;
- Passionate about driving new technology solutions;
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to write positional papers, white papers, policies, best practices and strategy documents;
- Good business focus and business facing skills.
