ASML - Wafer Stage E-architect Job Description

As Wafer Stage E-architect, your mission is to specify, design, realize and qualify the electrical infrastructure and electrical (sub) modules for new and existing ASML products.

Job Description The Wafer Stage E-architect is responsible for the specification, design, realization and qualification of the electrical infrastructure and electrical (sub) modules. The electrical infrastructure consists of the complete electrical path from sensor/actuator towards I/O and/or computational racks, meaning:

• All cabling from sensors/actuators up to I/O and/or computational racks
• Connection plates/boxes
• Computational, Motion Control and Power Electronics racks
• I/O racks (rear panels and/or backplanes)
• Mains distribution 

• The functional overview describing the location of the electronics parts in the (sub) system.
• The functional block diagrams describing the functions within the (sub) system on a high level
• The detailed wiring diagrams describing all the electrical connections within the (sub) system in detail.
• The cable overview giving the overview of all the cables within the (sub) system
• The functional specification (EPS), test specification (TPS), design specification (EDS) and qualification document (TAR) of the electrical infrastructure and electrical (sub) modules. 

• To act as an EDEV representative in a multidisciplinary design team.
• Make work breakdown and planning, agreed with other stakeholders.
• Manage outsourcing of Applications Electronics related modules.
• Transfer knowledge to production and service engineers.
• Solve problems during 1st product integration.
• Support production and service as an expert (4th line support).
• Analyze and solve reliability issues.

Master Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

• Experienced as designer, including experience with multidisciplinary system design.
• Has experience with general electrical engineering principles and electrical development methods and processes.
• For this role we are looking for a candidate who has the potential for future growth (e.g. system architectural level). 

• Self-propelling, takes initiative/ownership in daily work.
• Structured, with eye for details.
• Pragmatic attitude.
• Fluent in English in speech and in writing.
