ASML is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of chip-making equipment.
Our vision is to enable affordable microelectronics that improve the quality of life.
To achieve this, our mission is to invent, develop, manufacture and service advanced technology for high-tech lithography, metrology and software solutions for the semiconductor industry.
ASML's guiding principle is continuing Moore's Law towards ever smaller, cheaper, more powerful and energy-efficient semiconductors. This results in increasingly powerful and capable electronics that enable the world to progress within a multitude of fields, including healthcare, technology, communications, energy, mobility, and entertainment.
The DE (Development & Engineering) P&I (Performance & Integration) System Integration department is responsible for defining and driving the system integration of new products/options for full functional machine and performance qualification within time to market target.
The DE P&I SI Manufacturing group within this department is responsible for setting up and validating the Optimum Manufacturing Blueprint (sequence) for proto and pilot execution from the ASSY work centers up to and including the installation at customer's site. The System Test Engineer takes the technical lead in the integration of multiple subsystem deliveries into one complete system and testing these sets. Integration is done on both functional level and on performance level of the key performance indicators of ASML's systems (throughput, overlay, focus etc.).
He defines the optimal integration and test strategy to achieve this goal and takes part in execution of this strategy on one or more platforms. During integration and introduction of the systems at the first customers, the System Test Engineer will also take the lead in the analysis of complex system issues and in the definition and testing of the solution for such issues
