EUMETSAT is Europe’s meteorological satellite agency. Its role is to establish and operate meteorological satellites to monitor the weather and climate from space - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This information is supplied to the National Meteorological Services of the organisation's Member and Cooperating States in Europe, as well as other users worldwide.
EUMETSAT also operates several Copernicus missions on behalf of the European Union and provide data services to the Copernicus marine and atmospheric services and their users.

Meteorological satellites are an invaluable asset for weather forecasting and understanding of our changing climate, and their role will grow increasingly important with the next generations of our systems. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join us. You will work with all parts of our organisation, engaging our teams to embed quality into everything we do.
Within the Process Assurance and Management Support Division (PRS) and reporting to the QA Manager supporting the Technical and Scientific Support (TSS) Department, the holder of this post provides Quality Assurance support to the activities, projects and services under the responsibility of the TSS department, including the definition of Quality Assurance (QA) requirements and processes and checking their implementation.
You will join a forward thinking, dynamic team. If you have a passion for quality and space, we can offer an opportunity to develop your understanding of space engineering. Collaborating with our project teams, you will encourage them to focus on their ways of working and to find more efficient solutions to the challenges they face in developing and delivering our missions.
You will be committed to quality assurance and will need to be proactive, supporting your colleagues in identifying quality improvements and sharing best practice. You will have the capability to run training sessions, when required.
