EUMETSAT is Europe’s meteorological satellite agency. Its role is to establish and operate meteorological satellites to monitor the weather and climate from space - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This information is supplied to the National Meteorological Services of the organisation's Member and Cooperating States in Europe, as well as other users worldwide.
EUMETSAT also operates several Copernicus missions on behalf of the European Union and provide data services to the Copernicus marine and atmospheric services and their users.
As an intergovernmental European Organisation, EUMETSAT has 30 Member States (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom.)

Can you further enhance and quality-assure the organisational performance of EUMETSAT?
We are committed to be the leading user-driven operational agency in Europe for Earth observation satellite programmes – and you could be a part of this. We are looking for a new staff member who has the passion and experience to help drive our quality assurance, taking on more responsibility as you develop an understanding of our organisational needs.
You will support the Head of the Quality Management Unit and will be committed to defining and maintaining high level internal quality audit programmes. Your focus will be on enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of our organisation and the services we provide. You will work with our managers, engineers and scientists to reduce risks and to develop documentation which demonstrates our commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
We challenge you to deliver our high level quality audit programmes in a timely manner, ensuring that our systems and processes match our organisational needs.
Do you have a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline? Do you have a professional qualification in Quality Assurance?
