ASML is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of chip-making equipment.
Our vision is to enable affordable microelectronics that improve the quality of life.
To achieve this, our mission is to invent, develop, manufacture and service advanced technology for high-tech lithography, metrology and software solutions for the semiconductor industry.
ASML's guiding principle is continuing Moore's Law towards ever smaller, cheaper, more powerful and energy-efficient semiconductors. This results in increasingly powerful and capable electronics that enable the world to progress within a multitude of fields, including healthcare, technology, communications, energy, mobility, and entertainment.
Our group mission is to enable cost effective and reliable EUV system performance by predicting and securing optics lifetime, through contamination control and degradation prevention. As part of a team that provides the specification and delivery of integrated EUV system solutions, you will be the “right hand” partner and advisor to the System Engineers.
You will be challenged to translate EUV system and customer application requirements into design proposals for the EUV roadmap, coupled to ASML business drivers reflected in securing optimal transmission of the EUV collector over lifetime.Your professional knowledge of contamination mechanisms is used to assess performance of our systems in our factory and field and come up with data driven improvement proposals. You will need to combine your creative problem-solving abilities with analytical thinking and an assertive attitude.
This will drive development of innovative solutions that work around, break through and/or solve disturbances quickly, without impacting on projected performance budgets and delivery times. To achieve these solutions you will need to prioritize and set your own goals. You will be drilling down into narrow technology areas – including optical coating, materials science, chemistry, vacuum science, plasma and laser physics and optics.
